The filter bubble is ripping society in two and creating a polarised landscape. Because of an algorithm all of our search results are different, based on previous preferences. We are only getting information which we want to get, and discarding everything with which we disagree. This animation shows how the filter bubble is a new form of online censorship and how it can twist the the truth. This intro movie was shown at an mindshare event which the Guardian participated in.
